This specific VR-15LS model is designed for use with SLRs without battery grip and pro camera bodies with medium to long lenses.
This model comes with a Lever type clamp.
If you want it with a Screw Knob Type Clamp, look into the VR-15SS model
It won't work well with the most L-brackets in the market since they have left-right dovetal direction
It can move the mini quick shoe to forward, backward for balance with your instruments.
